For the first time, Yemen will host local Conferences of Youth on Climate Change (LCOY) in Sana'a and Mukalla, in addition to a virtual conference.
LCOY Yemen aims to empower young people by providing them with a platform to network, share knowledge, and develop their skills in addressing climate change. These conferences offer a valuable opportunity for Yemeni youth to engage in discussions on climate issues, present their ideas and proposals, and contribute to shaping a more sustainable future.
The conferences will focus on amplifying the voices of young people and strengthening their role in raising awareness about climate change. Participants will have the opportunity to network with other young climate activists, learn from experts, and develop their skills in advocacy and communication.
LCOY Yemen will be organized under the supervision of YOUNGO and in coordination with local partners.
